I made a hand-held time-lapse film in 16mm of Manny, Joey, and Adrian, who pirouetted like whirling dervishes for hours. The Kenzo raincoats were especially warm for this, but it was winter, so it was O.K. I was surprised when Manny confided to me that he detested the red and yellow color scheme. I chose it because the record jacket was red and yellow, and Joey and Adrian coincidentally showed up in the red & yellow raincoats. It was an improvised complementary color conspiracy.
