This animation features time-lapse photography shot with the 16mm Bolex film camera. I uncovered some interesting secrets while doing this footage. Mainly, that certain business interests were buying back the separated waste and dumping it into landfills to try and prove there was need of an expensive new incinerator. So, I had to go to a lot of different places to really follow what the full cycle of this process should look like.
