We
investigated ways to make sounds of the ocean with her trombone. By putting
the microphone in the bell of the horn and listening on headphones, we discovered
some subtle sounds that were not apparent to the ear without amplification.
Almuth, the musician, thought of expiring air from her nose after trying other
vocalisations. These sounds will be used in an animation I started durring the
festival. I have included some images as a suggestion of what I may do next.
